Having trained as a dancer in London and New York; and being currently active within the industry; I know how vital a headshot is in establishing your vibe at a glance. Constantly inspired by many visual arts; dance, fashion, painting, theatre and photography; I have come to love photographing faces. I wish to capture something that emulates the essence of who you are, as well as representing your casting potential in a headshot that will be magnetic and draw people to you.

Having my headshots done with Genevieve was an absolute JOY! I was made to feel comfortable and completely at ease in her environment. I usually dread having my photo taken and when I look back at some of my headshots, they don’t fully represent the true me or my personality. However, Genevieve made it so fun! It was personal, thoughtful and she easily tailored her session to my needs. I was free to make choices I wouldn’t normally make as, I never once felt self-conscious. There was a constant communication between us throughout and I totally trusted her guidance. I was unbelievably happy with my shots and I cannot thank her enough. What happens on the day of the shoot?
I know how stressful and nerve wracking getting headshots can be! That's why I've kept it simple and highly recommend a 2 hour session. We will start by having a chat about what you want from your shoot; what kind of work/shows you'd like to do and how you'd like to come across. This will allow me to shoot efficiently and work to give you what you want. You can have as many look changes as you'd like within the time frame. I mainly work inside from my studio, but we can go outdoors too if you'd like that option and weather permitting.

What should I bring? (clothes)
Please come prepared. Bring clothes that you think suit you and show your personality. A range of colours and necklines/collars is always good. Make sure you feel good in what you're wearing as that will come across in the photos. Have a good think about what kind of work you'd like these photos to get you seen for too and this will help your selection. Don't shy away from patterns if that's your vibe, they can look great! The more options the better!

What should I bring? (makeup)
Do ensure that you bring any make-up you require with you so that you can touch up/add/take away as needed. Nothing too heavy is adviseable, but it's personal preference. You might wish to add a lip or a heavier eye as the shoot progresses, but it's entirely up to you! Bring concealer, powder, hairspray and any other products you need to look your best!

Where is the studio?
The studio is in my flat located in Sidcup, southeast London; a 5 minute walk from the train station. Trains go direct from Charing Cross (30 mins), Cannon St (30 mins) and London Bridge (20 mins).

How do I pay?
Payment can be made by bank transfer, and should have been received 3 days before the shoot takes place; or in cash on the day. In the case of a last minute booking within 3 days of the shoot, payment should be made as soon as possible.

What Happens After the Shoot? When do I get my photos?
You will receive an online link to your entire range of photos within 24 hours of finishing the shoot. You can then contact me with the numbers of the photos you would like edited and I will get to work and send you the finished products as soon as possible; usually within a week.
